Division 10's News of the Week

Good Morning and HAPPY Mother's Day to all the wonderful women out there! This last week we spent time each day talking about why our mama's are so important to us. I read a lot of stories, we watched some wonderful videos and we wrote with our hearts. They loved making their cards for you, their gifts for you and they loved writing about how special you ladies are!! I enjoyed reading their letters to you and chuckled a few times. I did not give them ideas or guide them, just suggested they listen to their hearts to do the writing. They love love you mama's!! Beside's the Mother's day activities, we were busy with a few zoom virtual visits. WE had an author talk with Monique Smith Gray, an indigenous author who writes about kindness. We had an Earthquake presentation, then also practiced an Earthquake Drill ourselves. It was a busy week, but the children seem up to all the challenges that I have presented to them! This will be short and sweet...some pictures. Our platter is finished front and back and ready to be fired. The tickets will be going on sale soon for the raffle. I believe they will be 5 dollars each and you can buy as many as you would like!! The winning raffle ticket will get the lovely platter!! Good luck! And have a great day!!
