It's official!
It's SPRING BREAK!! And a happy one to all of you!
Hopefully you will all have a great two weeks. I cant wait to hear about some of your warm travels and for those of you who are having a stay-cation...enjoy your back yard. I love being able to just leisurely get up in the morning and embrace the day. There is sooo much to do and enjoy right here at home. I am travelling to the interior to see my parents. They live in Grand Forks and then off to see a new little niece in Penticton. So although my vacation will by no means be WARM it will be full of warmth!!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for an awesome two terms. The children have grown so much and are wonderful little human beings! By now everyone should have received their second term report cards. Remember they are a snapshot of what your child can do. Please return the envelope signed at the back so that I can reuse it for third term.If you have any questions we can talk in third term.

I am attaching some pictures of our bread making workshop. What a wonderful opportunity for our children to work with some ubc students. They worked in small groups, following directions to make some delicious whole wheat bread. I took a picture of the recipe so that you might want to make it during the break. It really turned out beautifully!

Our last day of school was spent in a day of play. The children played in the classroom, roamed throughout the school and played in other classrooms and then ended the day cleaning up our own classroom and then by celebrating Ben's last day of school with us.
Ben will be attending False Creek School in third term and we will miss him very much. We had a little cupcake party to say good bye. Good luck Ben!

And to everyone,
A great holiday...let there be sun!
I will see you in the last week of March!
